A day with
Food Trail Tours sees you travelling inland to the Cairns Highlands
which locals call the Atherton Tablelands. It’s a day off the beaten track interacting with the locals, hearing their stories and learning how
gourmet food and wine is grown and processed in North Queensland.
You will experience
interactive farm tours, meet locals and taste different food or wine at every stop. Visiting, small family farms and mingling
with the owners who work the business, provides a wonderful change of pace, and
amazing insights into Australian life.

The day includes
tropical fruit wineries, macadamia and
coffee plantations,
cheeses and
chocolates, so there is something for everyone.
Sightseeing includes
Wold Heritage Wet Tropics Rainforest and dry topical savannah. Stops include
Lake Barrine, 1000 year old Kauri pines and a 500 year old strangler fig tree.
