Our guided expeditions can be the perfect getaway, full of the discovery and adventure that makes a vacation forever memorable. Stand on the snowy windswept summit of Huascaran. Allow your eyes to sweep over the world stretching away far below. Explore an ancient Inca temple. Trek over high mountain passes and through low tangled forests. Come find for yourself the rhythm of the Andes, that which draws people, year after year, to these majestic mountains.

Typical Day

You should expect to hike, as your adventure will unfold where your feet take you. Expect the landscape to keep you spellbound as you walk. Even though donkeys, llamas, or porters will be carrying your load (food, clothes, equipment) as you can imagine climbing a mountain and trekking is hard work. Rest days are built into every itinerary to allow you time and space to recuperate and relax in spectacular places!

Age range, type of group

With a wide variety of trips ranging from moderate to very strenuous anyone of reasonable fitness should be able to find a trip to their ability.
Our groups sizes are small 3 - 6 to minimize our impact on the area and to keep it personal.

Sleeping and meals

Whether you are trekking, climbing, or taking our mountaineering course, you will be sleeping in quality four season tents with meals, prepared for you by skilled outdoor chefs, and served in our dining tent. While in town, you will be staying in a comfortable hotel accomodations with hot showers and eating in local restaurants.

Restrictions

As all our trips involve hiking, participants must be in reasonable physical shape and must fill out a medical form signed by a doctor. All participants on the mountaineering trips must be at least 16 years of age and on some climbs 18 years of age.

Rates

Our rates are dependant upon the type of trip applyed for. Our mountainering trips tend to be slightly more expensive then trekking. On an average most of our trips run from $60 to $80 per day and are all inclusive.

Other Information

No previous experience is needed on any of our trips with the exception of the Alpamayo climb. All instruction is provided before all of our climbs.
